  City of White Rock and the City of Dongying Friendship City Signing Event

  On Friday 8 May, the City of White Rock welcomed dignitaries from Dongying, Shandong, People's Republic of China. Hosts and their guests toured the City and Peace Arch Hospital. The tour was followed by an official signing of a Letter of Intent on the Establishment of a Friendly Exchange Relationship in Council Chambers.
  
  The relationship will be for five years with a view to promote economic development and advance culture, tourism, health care, technology, and other areas of mutual interest.
