Chamber's 'Let's Play Ball for the Canada Cup'
REGISTER TODAY for the Chamber's exciting new Let's Play Ball for the Canada Cup program, designed especially to support our local businesses during the international softball tournament. Athletes, visitors and volunteers (from around the world and locally) will be welcomed to our community and encouraged to 'support local'!
How it works?- You have the opportunity to welcome Canada Cup participants from around the world and locally to your business by offering a 10% discount on purchases or services (before tax). * If you would like to provide a different offer, please add it to the comments, we will do our best to accommodate it.
- Individuals will only receive the discount at participating businesses when they show a specially designed digital coupon, along with a Canada Cup ID, badge or ticket.
- Coupon will only be valid from July 3-16th, 2023.
- Upon registration to participate, please indicate the following in the "Registration Comments", if applicable:
- The address to redeem the offer
- If you would like to offer a different promotion than indicated on the coupon
- Any applicable offer restrictions
Exclusive benefits for participating businesses:- Your business is listed on the Chamber's Let's Play Ball landing page with hyperlinks to your business.
- Your business will receive special signage showing you as a participating business.
- Your business receives priority resharing on the Chamber's social media channels and a dedicated IG highlight for the Canada Cup.
- Your business is included in a special Chamber welcome letter which will be sent electronically to the participating teams and volunteers.
- The deadline to register as a participating business is: June 30, 2023 by 4pm.
- The program has limited space. If it is sold out at the time of registration, please add your business to the waiting list. We will do our best to include as many as possible.
Canada Cup Facts and Figures...- Tournament dates: Friday, July 7 to Sunday July 16, 2023 centred primarily at Softball City in South Surrey.
- Over 100 teams from around the world will be playing in the tournament, consisting of 1600 athletes, 400 coaches and 75 umpires!
- Over 500 local volunteers help bring the tournament to life.
- The Canada Cup is one of the largest international sports tournaments in BC, hosted right in our own backyard!
- Championship showcases the top female players in the world.
