Posted: 01/30/2025Are you a meticulous and organized financial professional seeking a flexible, remote role? Our team is growing and we need another Senior Bookkeeper to contribute to the success of our clients by ensuring their financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant. Reporting directly to the owner lead controller, you will be a key part of our team, supporting our valued client roster with exceptional bookkeeping services.

Key Responsibilities:• Financial Record Management: Maintain and manage accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure accurate and balanced records.• Payroll Processing: Prepare clients’ payroll run ensuring their employees are paid correctly and on time• Expense Tracking: Accurately track, categorize, and manage expense reimbursements.• Compliance and Reporting: Prepare government remittances such as GST, PST, WCB / Worksafe, Source Deductions, T4s, T5s, T5018s and the like)• Client Support: Collaborate with clients to address inquiries and provide answers to bookkeeping questions.Qualifications:• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a junior accounting or full cycle bookkeeping position.• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (experience with Xero, Sage, or other platforms is a plus).• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.• Advanced technical bookkeeping skills.• Highly proficient with computer technology and adaptable to new cloud based platforms. Comfort with the Google and Microsoft suite of programs.• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.• Suitable for CPA students, Certified Professional Bookkeepers, or individuals with a bookkeeping diploma.Position Specifics:• Start date as soon as the right candidate is found.• Part-time position to full time position, 20-40 hours per week.• Flexible working hours, between 8 AM and 5 PM PST.• Fully remote work environment (required: private and confidential home office located in Canada most of the year).• Occasional travel for team meetings.• Competitive salary based on experience $54,000 – $58,000 (full time equivalent)
