CityMed Pharmacy is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Surrey, South Surrey, and White Rock. This part-time position is perfect for LPNs who want to make a difference in their community by providing essential healthcare services to patients in their homes.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Home visits to deliver healthcare services to patients.
- Medication delivery and safe administration of medications including oral medications, patches, inhalers, and insulin.
- Administering vaccinations and educating patients on the use of medical devices.
- Monitoring patient responses to medications and treatments.
- Communicating with pharmacists and physicians to ensure coordinated care.
- Conducting health assessments, including blood glucose and blood pressure monitoring.
- Accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Flexible part-time shifts, including morning and evening shifts.
Requirements:
- Active licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Experience in medication administration and interpreting Medication Administration Records (MARs).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (two doses required).
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
- Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred (not mandatory).
