Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for mobility, ergonomics, safety, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to create individualized care plans.
- Provide support at clients’ homes, workplaces, schools, or virtually to foster recovery and independence.
- Work with diverse populations, including those with mental health challenges, brain injuries, physical disabilities, and developmental delays.
Optional Specializations:
- Pediatrics: Focus on sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, and self-care for children.
- Senior Care: Perform home safety evaluations and recommend mobility aids.
- Workplace Health: Conduct ergonomic assessments and develop return-to-work strategies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community visits.
- Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
