    Your Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments for mobility, ergonomics, safety, and daily living activities.
    • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to create individualized care plans.
    • Provide support at clients’ homes, workplaces, schools, or virtually to foster recovery and independence.
    • Work with diverse populations, including those with mental health challenges, brain injuries, physical disabilities, and developmental delays.

    Optional Specializations:

    • Pediatrics: Focus on sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, and self-care for children.
    • Senior Care: Perform home safety evaluations and recommend mobility aids.
    • Workplace Health: Conduct ergonomic assessments and develop return-to-work strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
    • Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC).
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community visits.
    • Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
